Born and bred in the heart of Vermont, I hit the road to chase my passion for photography at the New England School of Photography when I was just 18. Fast forward to 20, and the call of the Green Mountain State brought me back for good.
Deeply connected to the essence of Vermont, my lens initially focused on the raw narratives of documentary and street photography, a skillset honed amidst the bustle of Boston. However, the tranquil charm of Vermont led me to pivot towards the captivating landscapes and dynamic realm of commercial photography.
Then, life happened. Lily, my little bundle of joy, entered the scene, and suddenly, portrait photography took the spotlight. Turns out, freezing those precious everyday moments is just as thrilling as chasing the perfect sunset. Don't get me wrong, I'm still that stargazing landscape enthusiast, but these days, my mission is clear: immortalizing memories for families and couples. My Family
family
Nature is my happy place. Growing up surrounded by the beauty of Vermont is what initially inspired me to make photographs. I take every chance I can get to be outside hiking, biking, trail running, exploring a new swimming hole or photographing a new landscape. When the beauty of Vermont isn't enough, my family and I will venture to the Adirondacks for unplugged weekends at my in-laws cabin.

We are absolutely blown away with how amazing our wedding photos came out! Steve captured our special day just the way we wanted, with his artistic flare shining through in so many creative shots. We are generally not "in front of the camera" people, but he made us feel completely comfortable and it just added to the fun of the day. You are making a mistake if you’re not hiring Steve! Seriously, the photos speak for themselves. I’ve had so many compliments on our wedding photos, and I dreaded that part of getting married as I’m not particularly photogenic. Not to mention he handled a huge bridal party and family photos with grace and patience. I cannot recommend Steve enough- I would hire him again and again.

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am with the photos that Steve took of my family and I. Not only was he professional, incredibly helpful with ideas of positioning, places to go, things to do for perfect moments to capture, but the photos themselves left me in tears. I’m not sure how he did it. I often make very awkward faces in photos, yet Steve was able to capture the most remarkable moments between my family and I, and it feels like he truly captured all of our beauty. Additionally, the artistic flare that he brings to his session was really remarkable. We now have a family photo session that will be unlike anyone else’s.
